Mistake killing off Robert Patrick

The family dynamic humanized the series a bit. Season 2 is lacking reality a bit. And we never got the payoff where the cross works against vampires(due to it being given by someone with faith). And the thing is the faith arc can't be down with his kids as his kids are....something else.

I just feel robbed by not getting a full storyline where Robert Patrick finds his faith in God and the cross works.

Robert Patrick couldn't commit to a full season and the story never intended for his character to live past season 1.

This is a lot better than scorpion though

While true, it can't offer the money or exposure that the broadcast networks amazingly still wield. After all he's got to feather the nest egg.

When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed. Say something once, why say it again?

Season one was an adaptation of the movie (with an extra 8 hours of added stuff), and Robert Patrick's character died in the movie, so he died in the series as well.

But in the movie we got the payoff of him using the crucifixes, and also kinda his son used holy water for the squirt gun kind of. We never got the payoff of a religious symbol working.

Totally agree

He should've survived and maybe come back here and there on the upcoming seasons.

If it was based on the movie, Ritchie should've been killed off before Jacob Fuller, just sucks that they got rid of Jacob Fuller and can't use him again.

I like Robert Patrick as Buck in From Dusk till Dawn 2 much better than him as Jacob Fuller in the series
