There is still Hope for Season 4

Carlos Coto, the showrunner of From Dusk Till Dawn seems hopeful.

When the news first broke out about the cast being released & thus the possibility of show not getting picked up for another season, he wrote on Twitter:

"All I can say is we all know damn well how hard @DuskElRey characters are to kill #nothingelsetosay #FromDuskTillDawn"

Then after the S3 finale yesterday, when someone asked him if he could tell us how much time passed between the last battle and the last shot of the episode, he refused to answer saying that he cannot give anything away because he'd be spoiling it.
Some fan asked him then if this means there's still hope for Season 4. He responded with "There's always hope!"

Also, what I understood from the article is that the El Rey Network is considering two options: either renew the show or re-introduce it in a different format with the same actors. I guess dropping the show all together then is not an option which I consider to be good news.

I really hope it gets renewed though.

They mention possibly bringing it back as a limited series, but I thought that's what it already was. I mean, it airs once a year for 10 episodes. Unless they mean making the seasons shorter??

While I did absolutely love the ending, I do feel like it was set up to be an end. Sort of like what Supernatural did with Season 5, where it could go either way.

What I'm thinking by the whole "they let the actors out of the contracts" deal is that if it continues, it may be with different characters, like the movie series did, with vague mentions to the originals. Which, could be both cool and lame. We got into the series to see more of our favorites in extended roles and stories.

We'll see what happens. The pages did note it as a SEASON finale and not a SERIES finale, so I'm hopeful there will at least be something else in the future.

I see no reason why they would end it now. It is literally the best thing that has ever aired on their network.

I really hope there's more. Like its said it was the season finale not series, let's hope for more.

if it does come to an end, at least it ended the way it did. we can just say that ending with the guy, was he another RAnger, was just him looking for that amulet because it was pretty and he just wanted it for it's value and that's it.
