shareI agree that it was like a bit of Oliver, Mad Max, etc. (and also, Hugh Jackman seemed to basically be doing Gary Oldman's Dracula), but I don't agree with the idea that if you riff off of too many other movies, you fail. All of the films that served as inspiration are great, and this film wound up as a great stew of its influences.
