She's listed, but not shown in the movie, or did I miss something? I thought it was awesome for them to cast a black Wendy but looks they kept the idea of a white tiger lily and scraped the idea of a black Wendy, hmmmm

shareThere was talk of making a franchise out of this, so presumably Wendy would have featured more in other films. I'm guessing Wendy would probably have just had a scene towards the end - since Neverland is actually created by her stories isn't it?
But then again having a black character in there doesn't really excuse the race issue. A lot of filmmakers opt to just throw a black person or two so they can look diverse. The complaints were about how other minorities - Asians, Latinos, Native Americans etc - are barely featured in movies, aside from their usual stereotypical roles.
No her stories do not make Neverland.
