White Actress

Look, I don't care that it was a white actress playing the part. If she did, she should donate the money to the Native American tribes that she offended. I had many issues with the film. That not being one of them. Where I said, "Oh come on" was when they were singing Smells Like Teen Spirit. Way to kill Kurt Cobain even more. And for a movie that's supposed to be a prequel to Peter Pan. They got the whole time period wrong there. Didn't like this movie.

Sorry but your whole comment is incoherent.

OH please, he was right on the money. You just can't admit he was right. The movie was poorly executed.

neither liberty or safety

Nothing in the film suggests that the character was intended to be a native American.

reply

Also this is simply a Pan origin story. They can make the setting anything, any time they want.

reply

Seriously?? I'm at such a loss for words... That's all I can reply... *sigh*

reply

Sorry, that's in reply to the comment that nothing suggests Toger Lily is Native American

reply

how many *beep* native american actors do you know

Look like Tarzan talk like Jane! HAHA

reply

Sigh.
I knew this comment was going to be here...
The whole tribe was made of different races, their pan was Asian and their leader was an Aboriginal, so why can't Tiger Lilly be white?
Seriously get over it.

The time period was not wrong. The villians were time traveling, plucking people from different time periods. So it is completely within the context of the story to have the Nirvana song. They obviously plucked a Nirvana fan at some point.
