Woodpeckers

In the movie, Will Smith said woodpeckers have something in their skulls to protect their brain when there is an impact. How do we get one of those implanted into football players? That would solve the issue, wouldn't it? We can still keep watching the game everyone loves so much, guilt free.

Will Smith didn't say that. Dr Omalu did. A woodpecker is designed/evolved with a type of skull that allows it to do that. It would take specially advanced surgery to do that. Also, that would be very risky. As the skull doesn't have the room to put in such an implant. It would destroy essential brain tissue and alter the function of the brain.
