I generally liked S1 but S2 has largely a chore to watch.

Apart from a potentially interesting new villain who hasn't been featured enough, there is way too much boring sitting around and talking that doesn't effectively move the plot forward. I've been trying to finish this series for a year now, currently on episode 5 now and every scene featuring less evil Oprah makes me want to switch it off. Between her extremely boring scenes with her daughter and the cringey scenes with Shades where she's trying to act sultry, which is like watching your grandmother trying to get her groove back, I'm having a very hard time forcing myself to continue watching.

Season 2 is never as bad as the last half of season 1 but never as good as the first half of season 1.

Perhaps it gets better but as I said I'm only up to episode 5 which I had to switch off as soon as less evil Oprah showed up because I wasn't in the mood to sit through her scenes. At least season 1 managed to grab my attention enough by this point to make me actually want to see it through even if it didn't close out all that strong.

I myself never finished watching season 2 for the same reason. Same with Jessica Jones Season 2. Just didn't find them interesting. I also never finished Punisher Season 2. Mainly cause I just don't like the preacher guy and also because I just don't like how they did Jigsaw in this series.

You missed little skipping Punisher S2. It is loaded with stupid. S1: 8/10, S2: 5/10
