It still disturbs me I dont know why. Killed by his own cousin UGH. The fact that they grew up together too. I mean I have seen other way more disturbing things in movies and tv shows but that one gets to me for some reason.

I just hate that he was killed midway thru the season by the person I least expected he was kind of a tragic character too.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I wasn't that surprised to be honest, everything he did lead to his death and it was pretty clear that he was going to die. So it wasn't a chock value for me.

I'm not part of the group that automatically believes the show went to hell just because they killed off cottonmouth. My problem with it though was that it just felt like they did it for shock value rather than for any real rhyme or reason.

For me it was a waste of a great character...
It was a cool death for him, both for his character and Mariah, but it should have happened at the end of the season.

Maybe have him go into a coma. The rest of the season Mariah could have debated with if she wanted to pull the plug. Not knowing if he would forgive her or go along with the frame up of Luke Cage. At the end of the season, it could have left it open ended with whether or not she was gonna kill him. Standing by his bed. If the actor wanted to return, then bring him back.
shareI definitely wasn't expecting it and yes, it did rub me the wrong way. His comments were super insensitive and downright nasty but damn, Mariah just frikkin' snapped. The fact that it happened halfway through the season made it more of a surprise. I just wish Diamondback was a better villain because Cottonmouth was far more interesting.
