Bullseye is such a great fu**king cast
That's all. Or/And he is a terrific actor.
shareHe’s a force to be reckoned with. A full blown psychopath but holy sht is he one highly skilled and fascinating lethal badass! His fights scenes with Matt were some of the best this show has had to offer (that’s saying something).
And yeah, Wilson Bethel is OUTSTANDING as Dex/Bullseye. Can’t wait to see more of him.
ALL the fight scenes this season have been great.
Matt Murdoch's prison hallway fight was better than the Season 1 hallway fight...I was blown away by the choreography for a TV show. Even more remarkable was that Charlie Cox did it without the benefit of a mask. I'm not certain, but I think it may have been a stunt double who did that great fight in S1.
This show, if you ask me, proved from the beginning that it had some of the best fight choreography in tv OR film (season 2 and especially 3 were further proof of that). A live-action adaption based on this character deserved such good fighting scenes. As far as season 1’s brilliant hallway fight goes, here’s what the stunt coordinator for season 1 said about it...
How much was Charlie and how much was stunt doubles?
Silvera: Charlie Cox was in there quite a bit. We did a few types of switches between him and the stunt double. Obviously there are things outside of Charlie's training that his double can do better, but Charlie was in there quite a bit doing that.
So Charlie was indeed behind the mask in some of those shots. I honestly could always tell Charlie was in there although it was obvious a stunt double did most of the hard work.
But yes, season 3’s 11 minute one-take prison fight easily overshadows the hallway fight. Charlie Cox clearly did almost the whole thing himself and he deserves all the credit in the world. Everything about this sequence is astonishing.
Agreed, best part of season 3 and probably the best villain of the MTU!
shareYup to this. I'd not heard of this actor before this season, but he's done a fantastic job.
