Davos and Joy scene at the end , wtf was that?

My thoughts exactly! I came to this board to ask the same question.

Since when does Joy hate Danny? She clearly finally got suspicious of Harold after she realised he framed Danny, as she knew for sure Danny was innocent and Harold was manipulating her.

After all this she should know that Danny isn't the reason for her misery, her own father is.

Also, what is Davos interest in involving Joy? Why would he think she could help in whatever quest he's started on?

I think that my main problem with the ending of the series they didn't explain why Joy is willingly join the hand to destroy the Danny it could be expectable if they had killed off Ward and she blames Danny for it and that why she is joining the hand.

Joy did a complete 180 in that scene. Unless it's later revealed that she bravely wants to avenge Harold by pretending to be the hand's ally (because she holds them responsible), then my guess is the writers made her turn against Danny simply to shock us. While Ward's change of heart at the end was a bit surprising (albeit more convincing), it's kinda hard to swallow seeing one of the few -innocent - people who genuinely cared for Danny suddenly turn on him.

The problem of course is why would she do it? Putting the blame on Danny for what happened to her father? That would be foolish but I can see it happening by making us believe that Joy is essentially taking after Harold (unlike Ward). But then again, Davos' claim that Danny ruined her life was sorta... right. I mean even if Harold was the one who was responsible for all their problems, Joy's life was going relatively well until Danny showed up and all hell broke loose.

I dunno, nothing about this scene made much sense. The Hand is clearly going to be involved in The Defenders, so we might get some answers to Iron Fist's ending.

Davos and Gao might be it...maybe that's what they were hinting at.
