The only experience I have of Danny is from three things. A graphic novel by I think Matt Fraction were he was kind of a little to serious, the spouting wisdom from Ultimate Spider-man cartoon please don't hold that against me, and finally my favorite PM&IF comic were he is a lot more laid back.
Believe in yourself and create your own destiny.
He is mostly a laid back guy who has a bit of a dry wit, but depending on the situation, can be pretty rough and serious too. I think it depends on what he's going through.
The Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon probably isn't a good source of preparation for this show, though. It's not a bad toon, but it is a kid's show and they have turned Danny and the others into teens. He's bound to act differently.
I really hope they go with the old PM&IF comics where Danny was naive and silly and Luke kept him in line.
