David Sakurai might be playing Shang Chi

He's not added in the cast list on IMDB but If you look up on his twitter, its mentioned that he's working on IF and he often retweets stuff related to IF. He looks a lot like Shang Chi but the only problem I see is that he's Japanese while Shang Chi is supposed to be Chinese.

What do you guys think?

It's not the end of the world. Asians play other kinds of Asians all the time. Like everyone else. American or British blacks play African Warlords. Englishmen play Iconic American Presidents. Any kind of whites play Vikings. It's not a huge deal what the real actor's race is as long as they look the part. Can't believe this is the first one to pop into my mind but the parents in Spy Kids aren't actually Mexican. They're Spanish and Italian.

I think the only way Shang-Chi would 100% need to be played by a Chinese actor is if they needed a Chinese star to sell it to China but they don't really worry about China when the TV shows come into play. Just the movies.

I see another joker on the news telling me to play the fool.

Jackie Chan has played Korean and Japanese characters in his own movies and nobody complained.
Hypothetically speaking That actor would be fine anybody saying otherwise is full of it

He's Eurasian. I would rather an unknown Chinese martial artist take the role.
Go to Hong Kong and find someone with a Bruce Lee fixation.
