Still can't believe Netflix choose this guy over Scott Adkins

Can anyone chime in what is it exactly that so special with Finn Jones that Scott Adkins lacks? I'll be honest both have average/fine acting skills but at least Scott Adkins is proven to be a great martial arts/action actor with charisma and buffed body. Meanwhile so far from the trailer Finn Jones looks skinny as hell and no stand out charisma.
Also a little bit comparison with CW Arrow "Stephen Amell". Stephen Amell was totally buffed when he arrived in the city and he's got that MC charisma in S1, that's why people get hooked with the CW Arrow debut. I wouldn't even surprised if fans prefers Stephen Amell as Iron Fist if he wasn't played as Green Arrow already.

Adkins looks to be late 30's while Finn Jones is mid 20's at best. More pretty boy looking (which they may highlight). Not to mention isn't Adkins known more for B movie action films. Jones has the Game of Thrones fame (though he's nowhere known as much as most of the cast).

yep, the pretty boy looks certainly a selling point and the GoT cast also a plus situation. It's very unfortunate that the studio cast for someone that truly worthy for the character portrayal.

Scott Adkins is not a good actor is what it comes down too. Getting an actor is more important than getting a martial artist. A stunt double can do most of the action without compromising the quality of the show. But the reverse isn't true.
At the end of the day, Finn is just a better actor than Scott or Stephen.

The Emperor has no clothes.

Nah, I really don't think Finn Jones is a lot better than Scott Adkins in acting. Finn Jones in GoT was just a cookie cutter character that could easily replace by any actor, he has no impact even for his death scene. Meanwhile Scott Adkins though only in B-action movies, he's totally great as MC in most movies and his supporting roles in Big Blockbusters such as Expendable and Dr. Strange were pretty good for the most part.
