How big of a hit do you think this will be?

compared to the 3 previous series? Is IF the least known of the group?

Jessica Jones probably had the smallest fanbase before Netflix started. In fact, a lot of comic fans were annoyed with her being shoehorned into Marvel continuity. Iron Fist has had a decent fanbase since the 70's and has appeared in different Marvel cartoons and video games, so he isn't the least known of the Defenders.

As to whether or not this will be a hit, I'd say it will based mostly on the Marvel brand. At this point, audiences know what to expect when they see the Marvel logo. It might not do as well as the others, though. We'll have to wait and see.

So far it looks like a Daredevil clone so i'd slot it right in behind that.

I think word of mouth will really carry whether or not this is popular. Someone mentioned Iron Fist's appearances in other media, and that's true, but he's still usually a character that only comic readers are big fans of.

I would predict this is probably going to be around or slightly below Luke Cage in popularity, and maybe as popular as Jessica Jones. I don't think I'd put it above Daredevil for either season.

Daredevil is probably the best known, with Jessica Jones being least. I'd say Power Man falls in right behind Daredevil as far as popularity goes. It's actually a little hard to separate Power Man and Iron Fist. They have been partners in the comics for years, going back to their original incarnations in the 70's. Power Man seemed to get a little more crossover time with other comics. Plus, if memory serves, he was one-of if not THE first major black superhero in his day, so he got a bit more press than Iron Fist.

I don't know that ANY of them are really well known outside of comics fans. Daredevil has the dubious benefit of having had the Affleck movie done, and there was an appearance of Daredevil in one of the made-for-TV movies for the Incredible Hulk back in the late 80's, so arguably that character is probably best known to non-comic-readers, but that's probably not saying much.

I was skeptical about an Iron Fist series, honestly. I have a lot of his comics from his original runs (uncle was a fan) and he was never quite as interesting as DD or PM, completely IMO. But, I have to say, the trailer looked pretty good. I'm definitely more interested to see this now.

Not a very big one if that sneak peek is anything to go by. It worries me a bit that they thought that scene was worth showing off. The fight choreography was pretty terrible for a show about the greatest martial artist in the world.
