It seemed to me like he was saying that the actor, Clark Gregg, might have a cameo, not necessarily Agent Coulson, the character. But I could be wrong.
I could have sworn that back when they first announced the Defenders, they mentioned it was a special team assembled by Coulson, so it would make sense if, upon the conclusion of Iron Fist, he is approached by Coulson specifically for that purpose.

Ugh. Clark Gregg is the worst thing to happen to Marvel tv shows. Don't let him spread his filth to Netflix. They're the one Marvel franchise I actually enjoy. Let him go back to those stupid movies. They love dumb jokes and kid friendly nonsense.
