Hey all,

how many of you think that the show is going to get a fair shot by critics?
I think that even if it is fantastic, because of all the negative publicity/controversy over the casting, people will just automatically criticize it as being bad.
Like the comparisons being made to Arrow (justified or not). Honestly, much of the vibe of characters origins from the 70s comic are similar to what was depicted in S1 Arrow. So I don't know if there was much to be done about that other than completely change the source material. But I find that many people are automatically writing it off now simply for that, rather than saying, "yes the comic from the 70s has a similar theme to Arrow. Oh well... Let's watch,,,"

This is news to me. I've been following the publicity for a long time, and I don't know of any controversy of any castings in the series.

Unless you mean trolls in obscure corners of the internet complaining about the casting of a blonde white guy in the role of a blond white guy?

I don't think most of the world knows or cares about that.
