The scene where Alice watches the video instruction of her suicide was a powerful scene in my opinion.
When she ultimately fails to follow her own wishes, did you feel sad?
Or did you feel glad that she wouldn't die?
I felt mixture of emotions but I guess if I were to put it in one way, I felt more sad.

I felt sad 100%. I came here specifically to see if anyone brought it up.
The escape clause that she so cleverly set up for herself failed. She must have felt strongly while in her right mind about not wanting to stick around once she became deteriorated to such a degree as to not remember her family.
Agreed. I don't think anyone wants to ever become a burden to their family and friends. She wanted to die on her terms and I personally respect her decision.
