Did she and her husband keep having sex?
There was no indication that I could sense in the movie. Was that discussed in the book?

I don't think so. I don't think it was ever mentioned. It was implied during their trip to their beach house.
shareThere was a very good made for TV movie years ago with Joanne Woodward playing a woman professor who has Altzheimers and that was part of the portrayal, the sexual relationship with her husband.

I was hoping they would, which would have helped illustrate another precious thing that was being lost.
My people skills are fine. It's my tolerance of morons that needs work.
Right, and you wonder when it would become unethical.

Wasn't there a legal case where a husband was prosecuted for having sex with his wife who had Alzheimer's? You have to think there's a fine line there somewhere.
shareIndeed.

If you're talk about Rayhons case, he was found not guilty. There was a lot more going on behind the scenes with that case. He claimed they only held hands and kissed. Mrs. Rayhon's children, from a previous marriage, were a mitigating factor.
But I get the point you were making, and it's a good one.
It's interesting to note that the non-profit Alzheimer's Association said it was not taking a position on the case but noted the importance of conversations about patients' capacity for decision-making.
Hope not. Her husband was an a$$.
