Now I know why this millenial garbage flopped

Jeez that was bad

reply

You have two of the highest paid actors with no perceptible talent. Jesse Eisenberg earning 75 million in a year, and Kristen Stewart earning 35 million in 2011. Both of them are terrible actors with zero range. I doubt the US gross even covered both of these clowns salaries.

reply

You are just determined to trash this fun film and cast! I hope reader see you for what you are, typical haters of two engaging actors.
This film has been doing well on DVD, VOD and rental. The upcoming way of marketing. People love watching movies at home.

reply

Movie was garbage. Actors made it worse

reply

Who paid you, you delusional person? Engaging actors? No. Fun film? Not really. Fun cast? Not really. Doing well on DVD? No. So why did Mission Impossible pull in 700 million worldwide and American Ultra pulled in 24 million? Mission Impossible was a fun film with a fun cast.

reply

You are comparing mission impossible to AU you make me laugh MI is big blockbuster that had 4 sequels that build fan's if the movie was awful fans will see it AU id not like it it wasn't marketed well 4 month's before the release what us this opened on same day with 2 others R rated films which can harm the BO

reply

The first Mission Impossible made 180 million, you delusional person. Eisenberg and Stewart are awful actors, deal with it.

reply

You again don't you get tired and now you changed from MU5 to MI mean you can't stick to an argument they are not bad they are good if you are better I'd like to see you act and gain money as much as they do

reply

You claimed the reason the most recent Mission Impossible made money was because it had films to build up the franchise, right? So how come the original Mission Impossible made 180 million? Learn English, you delusional person. Making money means you're good? Yes, I could have a role written for me and pull off a performance just as good if not better than Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart.

reply

Then do it I want to see you making good movies and ps making money doesn't mean the movie is good

reply

How poor is your English exactly? Yes, how much money a movie makes does say something about how good it is, you delusional person. Sure, I'll change careers and throwaway my education because some delusional person on the internet thinks putting on a Kristen Stewart level performance is difficult.

reply

No I doesn't making money has to do if to a lot of effects while a movie can fail but be so good and vice versa and you think being like Kristen isn't hard well let me see this is how everyday their is an actress showing in Hollywood stay at school kid and learn some ethics and how to not make fun of anyone

reply

Did Pulp Fiction have a lot of effects? Why did it make 200 million as an independent film then, you delusional person? You have no idea what you're talking about, at all. Kristen Stewart was born in LA to Hollywood royalty and would vacation next to Spielberg. You have no idea how Hollywood works, do you? Kristen Stewart is awful and thousands of actors do a better job than she could ever hope to do.

reply

you are being the idiot here. box office gross does not indicate quality. Or do you think michael bay is one the best directors in hollywood right now just because his movies make a lot of money?

reply

Box office gross has a lot to do with quality. You may not like what appeals to mass audiences but their opinion does matter, a lot. All the best directors have high grossing films.

reply

Just answer this: do you think michael bay is a better director than Stanley Kubrick?

reply

Wham! ;-)

reply

I'm sorry but I have to disagree.
This movie could have been an OK movie, but Jesse and Kristen were the wrong choices.

I won't get into a whole thing with Kristen, other than, if she was fat and ugly, she'd be working in a diner. She's no actor.

Jesse, on the other hand, has some talent, but he's more of a character actor.
He has no range.
He plays himself in every movie, which worked in Zombieland, but not an action hero or super villain.

He always looks so uncomfortable in his own skin, like he might cry at any moment.
Zuckerberg, Bourne, and Lex Luther, shouldn't look like they are gonna cry every ten minutes.
I think he knows he's in over his head in every movie.

I think a good movie premise for him, would be, Jesse and Michael Cera as two closeted gay dudes who want to adopt a baby but decide to get a *beep* first as practice.
Lots of chances for these two guys to cry on each other's shoulders.

Goggins, on the other hand is a phenomenal actor, but sadly only gets small character roles.
It's a travesty.

The problem is, so many of the viewers are younger and would rather watch young pretty actors, no matter how abysmal they are.

Lots of room for

reply

I agree, this movie was complete *beep* Nice Salad Fingers avatar BTW!

reply

Thank god it flopped, such a bad film.

You can knock on Ed Wood but it won't do you no good 'cause all of my heroes are dead in Hollywood

reply

Bad writing sinks a movie every time.

Thanks for posting this

The OP clearly has no taste in films---this was a fun,too extremely violent at times fun action-comedy flick that should have gotten some more promotion than it did.
