I didn't think that because usually set ups for sequels are very obviously telegraphed. For example...
SPOILER ALERT for WARCRAFT
I watched Warcraft before AU, and the final scene showed an orc baby in a basket floating down a river and being found by someone. The voiceover was about the baby growing up to be a chief and continuing 10 generations of chiefs. Right before that was the funeral of the human king (who died during a war with the orcs) and his sword literally being passed to his loyal lieutenant. It was reeeeally obvious that they were planning a sequel with a grown-up basket baby (I get the feeling that sequel won't happen, though).
Anyway, that all said, maybe you're right. I liked AU, so I'd probably watch a sequel. But I get the feeling that this hypothetical sequel won't happen, either. Oh well.
