Apollo Ape drawings foreshadow future events?

Did anyone else notice that when Mike is first seen drawings the Apollo Ape drawings the pictures foreshadow future events? It's in the first 10 minutes of the movie, one of the pictures shows Apollo Ape stabbing a fork into someone's head/neck (really more of the head though). Then later on Mike stabs someone in the neck with a spoon. Obviously this isn't that much of foreshadowing, but the events in the comic are similar to what happens. The next few cartoons of Apollo Ape show him taking a dustpan and stabbing it into someone's head. Mike did this in one of the later scenes. Not sure if this was coincidence or on purpose, but I wanted to know if anyone else noticed it.
