Listen to your heart. Failing that, here's one stranger's opinion:

Watch The Wolverine if you want to enjoy a decent precursor. Watch X-Men Origins if you want to laugh at a bunch of boneheaded creative decisions.

Meh... Not sure if you would enjoy the other two. First, they are very distinct movies one from another, they aren't even directly linked storywise. Second, Origins: Wolverine has been pretty much universally panned, the only redeemable thing about it is Liev Schreiber's Sabretooth. Even if I personally enjoy the movie. And third, after seeing Logan, and witnessing Wolverine be depicted the way he should have been from the start, going back will just feel like a stepdown and will probably make them less enjoyable for you. But you shouldn't let this third reason detract you from watching the movies, they are still fun adventures.

It would be almost impossible to overstate how profoundly awful the first two movies are; they're a major embarrassment to everyone involved. If you haven't seen them and you're not a masochist, just skip 'em. They're 4+ hours you'll never be able to get back.
