Means that I don't feel I can give a vote to this movie. Maybe it's great (everyone adore it) but, to me, it just sucked; I'm a logical though emotive person and I need at least one of these two things to like a movie, and this one lacks of both.
Bbethany7soulista is right. Youth is tediously pretentious, with jarring scenes and episodes that seem to have dropped in from another galaxy to disrupt the narrative. The casting is poor. Caine and Keitel playing artsy geezers don't ring true. The script is feeble. In many ways it makes no sense. It should have been done in Italian, with Italian actors and crew.
One redeeming feature is the phenomenal body of whoever played Miss Universe. I know about the problems of old age, since I was born in the same year as MC...1933.
"Caine and Keitel playing artsy geezers don't ring true." The ironic thing about this statement is that Caine and Keitel are most definitely artsy geezers in real life. They both make a living acting.
