why they put nudity in this?

Obviously you have not been to many european spa resorts.. Not everyone is as hung up on nudity as countries like the USA etc. We don't need you to pray for our redemption either.. thank you very much.

I took it as another part of the aestheticist style comparing the beauty of youth to the impacts of age. We had seen the mental and emotional impacts of age in the film, so why not the physical?

I don't think something necessarily has to be profound in order to retain quality. Being able to capture the essence the director was looking for and having people appreciate it should be considered a success in itself, even if you don't discover some fundamental truth about yourself.

if you ask this type of questions (" why is there sex/nudity in art/film/literature..) then you are obviously not smart or cultured enough to enjoy or get it. You would go to an art museum and feel "offended" by the nudity in the paintings or sculptures. And so on... you fail to get the real meaning or what really matters in any artwork of any form, and only notice or comment on such trivial issues. Go watch something else. Or come back with something clever or thought provoking to say. This website will be a much better place with less people like you.

Yeah, come back with a reply such as: who are you to tell me what to watch. Or.. "so if I don't like it, then I am not smart?"
