Moral of the Story

So basically the moral of the story is that women have the power to drive men to jump of a balcony to their deaths, to inspire them to great works of art, or to give up who they are for one last *beep*? So basically women are *beep* *beep* and should be used for man's pleasure and not take too seriously as they are more 'mind *beep* than yardstick of rationality?

 I'm female and didn't feel at all that it was an offensive representation of women.

The moral - in it's most simple form - is something like: "life is hard, growing old is hard, but don't give up and find joy where you can".

That is a masterpiece of understatement.

No, none of the above. That is not a part of this movie; you got it wrong.
Why did you give away major part of the story without a spoiler warning?

no

I choose to believe what I was programmed to believe

I was thinking about that, too. Being a woman I often did feel women in the movie were seen through an objectifying looking glass. I wouldn't like to be a man's reason to live or for him to depend on me for artistic inspiration :)
