How'd he get the guy to talk?
Of course, it's de rigueur in movies for the good guy(s) to run through hails of bullets, etc., and not get mowed down where as the antagonists get picked off. So in terms of movie conventions, what I am about to ask makes sense.
But if you are dealing with people who are passionately opposed to you and you are basically killing one of them, how do you get the guy to tell you where the president has been taken? I'm speaking of the scene in which the vehicle has overturned and the president has been kidnapped and Banning manages to get information out of an enemy. How did he get the guy to talk with a few well-placed stabs? Was the idea that he had the element of surprise on his side and the guy would do anything to make the stabbing stop?Plus, did Banning leave the guy to the forces that were helping him, or did he kill him or was the guy already mortally wounded?
