MI hand signals

So Gerard held a gun in his left hand, and the USA fol;ks were able to interpret that as "I am going to an MI6 safe house."
How?

reply

It's a movie, don't read too much into it.

And a bad one :(

Don't let the koolaid drinkers hear you say that(it's a movie) about "Sully". That stuff's real.

reply

He had six fingers pointing, and buddy said that hinted at MI6.

reply

Yeah that was pretty bad. Waaitt a second... Is he left-handed? Oh of course, that must mean MI-6!

reply

Haha, yeah, that was pretty weak. They definitely could've come up with something more believable than that.

reply

Yeah, i usually take stuff in action films with a pinch of salt and see past situations when people put 2 and 2 together with the most barren of clues, but that was too much for me to take.

It was ridiculous!

Ita your president in another country only Accessible by a satellite and the one secret service man you can rely on to care for him. I think it's only not believable for you because you don't live on those terms

reply

I agree with bigphil. I'd have to watch it again, but something about his five fingers and the end of the gun equals six points to M16.

reply

The President is codenamed "Southpaw" as he is left handed. Banning is right handed, in the signal to the satellite, he is holding his left hand spread out and one finger on his right hand. That and the fact it's a film with so many plot holes it's not amazing that the original director wanted nothing to do with it!

Thank you ATurtle05-1. Someone finally posted something that indicated they had watched the movie and paid attention.
