For some reason both "Get to the chopper" and "I'll be back" are being said by Gerald Butler in his weird sounding accent. Just reminded me of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Or was it just me?

I did hear "get to the chopper" and chuckled in the theater but it's a common phrase in this kind of film.
shareI think that something people seem to miss about this movie. It was a throwback type movie. It seemed to pay homage to movie like Commando, Cobra, Die Hard and those other action movies from the 80s/early 90s. It was an over the top action movie full of one liners and a pure alpha male.
shareTrue, it lifted lines directly from Arnold's movies, more than once. Besides the obvious "Get to the choppah", and "Wait here...I'll be back", there was a line about a guy being "Dug in like a tick", from Predator. There are probably others, but that's all I caught.

Not just you, I saw it today and thought the same thing. One day, someone will make a movie called "Get to the Chopper!"
