Next title : UN Has Fallen

In that next title, terrorists will attack an annual UN meeting and will execute 192 heads of states, only US president will survive due to heroic efforts of Banning.

reply

Someone should tell the makers that the US president isn't the only important person in the world.

The worst thing about this movie was that it was the city of London that was falling but yet it was mostly about the US president.

reply

There are other important people in the world but the US President is *the* most important person in the world.

reply

The Pope is the most important one, I guess?

reply

No one is more important than Pauly Shore.

reply

No he's not, he's the most powerful. There is a difference. No human is more important than any other. We are all equal.

Um, the movie is about the U.S. president because Gerard Butler's character is his friend and protective agent.

This seems like common sense, but I know there are a lot of stupid people in the world, so there you go. 

This is an American movie. You need to try to wrap your head around that and as such it's meant for American audiences.

If you don't like a movie that emotionally invests American's to the exclusion of all foreigners, look for something else to watch. I'm tired of Hollywood pandering to others.

Um, they pander to others because that's where the money is for everything except Star Wars movies, Star Trek movies, US-sports flicks and black-themed films, dude. Check the box-office breakdowns, including for this. Don't take it personally.

Your reply isn't really adding up to me. I replied to a guy who was crying that the movie centered around the US president and I was defending that. I'm sick of idiots complaining about stupid things like American movies being American centric. I'd quit watching movies if they weren't centering on Americans or at least Europeans, because I actually relate to them. I don't relate to asians, africans or arabs.

The Milky Way Galaxy Has Fallen.
Aliens attack the galaxy thousands of years in the future and assassinate 100 billion heads of all the planets. Gerard Butler has been cryonically preserved and awakens just in time to save the 1 head who represents the United States back on Earth.

reply

This wouldn't work due to communication between the planets.

reply

UN getting blown up wouldn't really change anything. They are useless *beep* anyway.

reply

But why would terrorists attack UN? UN cannot do anything! there would be no point.

Yes – and the next film will be EU has Fallen.

reply

Nah, EU got rid of the member that tried to do this already.

reply

Thank God we're out, especially given that the EU is falling – it will implode as the result of its own stupidity and the grandiose, dictatorial, empire-building ambitions of unelected bureaucrats. It's likely to cause war on the European Continent, and I'm sure there will be an opportunity for a film there post the event.

reply

Takes one to know one i guess. I really dont see how you can complain about lack of democracy given that you are living in a literal monarchy where all laws have to be ratified by House of Lords that are unelected aristocrats. But i guess hypocracy doesnt matter as long as you can find a scapegoat for your problems.

reply

The reply shows your utter ignorance, given that the House of Lords has now largely been filled with unelected (and unelectable) left-wingers and nouveaux-riche business people pursuing their own ideological aims and/or vested financial interests – long gone are the days when it was filled with 'unelected aristocrats', who arguably were preferable to the current lot. The power of the House of Lords should and hopefully will be be curtailed. In the meantime, I do wish to continue to live in a sovereign state, in which elected politicians can be booted out if they do not act on the will of the people, not in some German super-state run by unelected foreign bureaucrats imposed on the people of Europe without their agreement, which is destroying Europe and is likely to lead to war. And it's 'hypocrisy', not 'hypocrasy'.

reply

The people filling House of Lords is not relevant to the conversation. The unelectable left-wingers and neuveaux-riche are as much aristocrats as the lords in the past. It is their power on politics that matter, not their personality. Personally i prefer a commission selected by elected heads of state than unelected lords, old or new, but i guess thats just me.

Although i would like to quote yourself to you: "The reply shows your utter ignorance". You do not know even the basics of EU politics and are clearly only informed by brexit propagandists. You are no better than the ones you hate so much.

Have a good day.

P.S. Sorry for my grammar mistakes, for i am a filthy migrant for whom english is not a native language.

reply

You made the subject of the Lords relevant, though I agree that it is not. And for your information, I prefer democracy, with a House of Commons in Britain, which is relevant to Britain and directly elected by the people. The House of Lords as it stands should be abolished.

It is rather silly to call a person names and assume they 'hate' someone when they don't, and when you don't know them or - really - their views or the level of the data they possess. And for your information, I am the offspring of political exiles to Britain, though they were certainly not 'filthy'.

Your English is perfectly fine.

reply

No, the subject of lords are relevant, whats not relevant is the individual members of the HoL. Britain has both HoC and HoL and both should be taken into account when talking about democracy. Sadly thanks to HoL Britain is less democratic than EU. I do agree with you that HoL should be abolished, but currently it is not so.
