Skin her
Why didn't they skin her?
I bet that would have been a way to destroy her.
Evidence:
1) Her skin is perfectly preserved, unlike the rest of her. If her entire self was magical/cursed, her inner organs would likewise have been perfect, rather than scarred.
2)Organs removed from her body cavity decomposed nearly instantly, while those inside of her were preserved. Therefore: removing her skin may have made the rest of her rot away.
3)She did nothing until they began cutting her skin. Everything was completely normal until Tommy moves to begin the Y incision, at which time the radio freaks out to cause him to pause.
3) The sh** doesn't hit the metaphorical fan until they peel her skin back and discover the tattoo markings. Until that point it had been radio manipulation and the cat. But as soon as they peel her skin off, she blows the lights and raises the corpses.
4) The cloth is preserved as well as her organs, indicating preservation is a general effect of being within the skin, rather than a quality specific to her body.
5) When they set her on fire, they had fully re-closed her skin. She shows no outward signs of damage, though the external organs that had been removed earlier were damaged and decomposing. This may indicate that the skin is acting as a protection.
Alternate theory: It was blood related, rather than skin. Her blood is fully liquid and flows freely, the cells in it are also alive, so it is her blood that is magic/cursed and not her skin. Turning the radio on could have been in response to her bleeding, instead of being cut. The cat did not die until Tommy cut his hand and bled on her. The blood sample in the fridge increased and ran all over the floor. There are frequent closeups of the bloody equipment, the blood draining into the table, or other bloody things before she does things.
