Bear with me, the title reminds me of a scene in 'Coming to America'...

"See, me and the McDonald's people have a little...misunderstanding. They're "McDonald's"...I'm "McDowell's." "They have the golden arches...mine is the golden arcs."

Now...insert minute changes:

"See...me and the 'Equilibrium' people have a little...misunderstanding.They're "Equilibrium"...we're "Equals." Their film is about a bleak future where emotions are illegal and suppressed with daily injections...starring Christian Bale. Our film is about a bleak future where emotions are illegal and suppressed 'GENETICALLY'...starring Kristen Stewart. See, Christian...Kristen? TOTALLY different, right?!"



I was laughing out loud as soon as the trailer started. Guess all the titles not similar to equilibrium were taken, huh? 

Love the comparison! "Coming to America" is such a quotable movie.

Thanks! It was literally the second thing I thought of while viewing the trailer--the first being, "Holy SH!T...it's Equilibrium...volume 2!"

And yes, it definitely is just that. I don't think I know a single person who can't act out at least 3 scenes from the entire film. It's so quotable that most people forget that this was likely the first time they encountered Samuel L. Jackson--an early glimpse of his expletive-laden glory.
