After watching the trailer I knew where they ripped this story off from. This perfect Day by Ira Levin. The eradication of emotion through drugs so as to control the society. This film seems to be only one aspect of the book but in the trailer, short as it was, there were a few things which seemed to be lifted directly from the novel.

Exactly! I just read TPD a few months ago and this could be a trailer for the adaptation of the book.

Very true.
Wish they would make This Perfect Day into a movie.
Great story.
