What you feel and how you believe guide your actions.

This wasn't a particular good movie... 6 or 7 out of 10. But maybe I enjoyed it more then the average because of recently completing a psychology course. Some of my favorite discussions were the futility of suppressing emotions, and how emotions are contagious. When watching someone in pain sometimes you just can't help but feel part of their pain as well, or feel pleasure when they feel pleasure. This movie talks about both these subjects intensely.

Isn't weird how when someone questions or challenges your believes, it provokes the most emotions. No one can take away your believes, they can only enlighten you at best or do nothing.

For me, a 7/10 IS a good movie :)

Anyway, I totally agree about your observations about human nature and its relation to the movie.

I had to smile at what you said about having our beliefs challenged. You're right, no one can actually take them away. Funny how all of us at one time or another, has gotten very upset when our beliefs are questioned. Beliefs aren't a popularity contest
