I'd smack people who don't answer....

Unless you're babysitting a 9-year-old you've denied extra ice cream, it's very unusual for people to NOT ANSWER those talking to them.

I'm halfway thru this film, and it's full of people who stare into space and don't answer when addressed.

I hope they all die. They are too immature to make it in this world, anyway!

I know people like this (sign of insecurity)... They don't get smacked by anyone. People just move on with the conversation or end it awkwardly...

It's a very bad habit.

Here's a tip. People who have had very emotionally limiting and/or damaging childhoods don't always respond like psychologically healhy human beings, because they aren't.
