Cult Of Chucky

Kind of an odd name. Just.... Huh?

Plot sounds decent. However Nica decides it didn't happen? What? Okay then.... Not like the series has been great on plot consistencies anyways.

Andy coming back sounds cool. I hope it's well done.... I also hope Alex Vincent can pull off the role. I don't mean to be rude course even Alex will agree that he is not the greatest Actor or even considered himself an Actor to begin with so hopefully he got lessons and gives it his all.

Sorry but if he's too wooden it can ruin the flick. Kinda pondering if maybe they shouldn't have went with Justin Whalin or someone who can do a good job. I mean his one line at the end of Curse.... Then again it's cool to see the original Actor and I assume him and Don are confident enough to cast him in the role again.

I just hope this turns out epic.

Then what? How many more will they make? I thought Curse more or less did a great job wrapping things up. This seems like it should be the final flick or maybe they can pull off one more....

Unsure. I mean I was excited to hear that Curse did well enough and that another was being worked on. This sounds like it might be Andy plotting to take care of Chucky once and for all.... He might be in the whole film or half of it in which this will lead to one more. Who is to say until it comes out....

As for who should be axed off.... I don't want Andy or Nica or Tiffany then again it might be time for Tiff to go especially if the series is getting ready to wrap up.

Who says this series will wrap up soon? I mean really... Chucky is an icon similar to mickey mouse, he will always be around.

I'm worried Alex Vincent will be wooden as well but looking at his IMDB page it looks like he's been getting back into acting lately after his cameo in Curse. Maybe he flexed his acting muscles a bit and will give a competent performance. Here's hoping.

The plot can't be real, it sounds so stupid.

Because it kind of gets more dumb the more you think about it. Nica gets amnesia all of a sudden? She convinced herself that she was the one who killed her family? That's improbable. That's too much of a stretch. We're not dumb who's going to believe that. Andy is going to help Nica realize that Curse of Chucky actually happened? Nica, come on sweetheart we thought you were smarter than that. Who made Andy become Expert Doll Hunter all of a sudden? Why would he willingly go back into the fray revisit his traumatic past to help a woman who has already defeated Chucky once?

And to do that, Andy is supposed to put up with Tiffany? How would he even know who she is? Tiffany is dumb and annoying, she's been like that ever since Seed. She really is annoying, I mean Chucky has killed her 3 times already. So why is she still helping a guy who is just going to kill her again anyway?

I don't like this and I don't have any hope for it. This is coming from a Chucky fan. I really do like Chucky and I am really hoping that they reboot him. He needs it bad. This movie, the way it's set up. It's not looking good. Tiffany should have stayed dead at the end of Bride. Her appearance in this would be going off of her appearance in Seed of Chucky, which really should have been called Seed of Tiffany or Tiffany's Family because she had the major role in that over Chucky. I didn't even like that she was at the end of Curse. I don't like her! And I'm kicking and screaming for the fact that she's back in the movies as a main character. Seed did such a damage to the series and now they're back at it again with Tiffany playing a major role. This sounds like Seed of Chucky 2, we can't go back there! We can't! Don't take us back!

They've got to come with something better than that. They're going to fool around here and give us the last Chucky film. This could be shaping up to be the final Chucky film. They're just setting it up.

Okay, so its four years after the events of Curse, which also means after the end credits scene at the end of Curse as well involving Andy. So my question is what the hell happened to Alice? Did Chucky actually switch into her body, or did he just transfer her soul into the Grandmother's corpse, who had a plastic bag over her head to kill her in an explicit way? And if he did transfer into her body, what did he accomplish with her body? It looks like the actress playing the girl is attached to the project, but it is IMDB, so it can never be TOO trusting, and Alice gets no mentioned in the plot summary, whatsoever. Also, what happened between that scene and the after credits scene that led to Chucky being sent to Andy's place? Also, that is the fourth time Andy has dealt with Chucky, from age 6, to 8, to 16 to, what, 31 at the end of Curse? And he still can't properly kill this doll still? How does Chucky come back after getting blown away by Andy when he has the means now to ensure he never comes back again?

I don't mind Nica convincing herself that she imagined the doll and believing she did it herself. I can understand survivors who go through an ordeal like that try to logically put it together and not be insane, like everyone claims them to be. If Tiffany comes back and has a major role, I want a wrap up on what happened with Glen/Glenda. Did Chucky kill him/her at the end of Seed, and Tiffany doesn't mind it whatsoever? It's her son/daughter. How does Glen/Glenda deal with the fact that his/her mother is psycho/stupid enough to trust Chucky again? Also, we got a bit of a tease at the end of Curse for a possible return for Karen Barclay and Mike. I kind of hope they get a cameo at the end of this one.

Don Mancini as a director is a mixed bag. Like, you know you're going to have the quality. That's what makes his movies really shine. His camera work, soundtrack and screenplays are good. Seed of Chucky was great in that department. It was awesome. The only problem was the direction. Which is, technically antithetical when you think about it. Don Mancini with his Chucky series, never goes hardcore on his movies, he always has to add a level of campiness to them. Let's remember, Seed of Chucky wasn't funny.
