I cannot find anything about the hula hooping bear.I want to say it is s real bear with a little bit of computer animation. Is the Bear real? It seems like a circus bear and that is politically incorrect to all the sensitives so maybe it is not bring mentioned.
His trainer not only speaks native Russian (with light intentional accent), but kind of Russian you would hear from a real trainer (maybe from circus, indeed), so I'd say he's a professional, and that bear is real.
I live in Russia and I don't really understand all the fuss about bear. It's a real circus bear performing simple tricks without any CGI involved. Trainer is Russian. There are lots of animals in Russian circuses. No fairy tale with that for sure.
Only hippie, liberal , leftist, PETA brainwashed, incapacitated thinking, cult member, sheep "weep" when they see well taken care of, well loved animals performing, entertaining and bringing joy to the hearts of millions. They are there same people who closed down Ringling Brothers. Evil monsters. A performing bear act is not dangerous to the bear, and we (USA) have TONS of movies with animals doing crazy, awesome, amazing, fun things. They are called comedies. If you'll notice at the end of all movies with animals, this one included, it will note that the animals were not harmed in the making of this film. There are many ways to train animals without cruelty. It's an entire industry from dogs/cats up to elephants. For movies, commercials, photoshoot campaigns and more. People spitting out false statements and trying to pass them off as facts based solely on their own opinions is ridiculous.
