Heist is like a strange remake of SPEED
In HEIST, Robert De Niro plays an aging gangster named Mr. Pope, who uses his riverboat casino to launder money for the mob. Mr. Pope has built an empire on greed and murder, but now he finds himself slowly dying of cancer, and attempting to make amends for the evil deeds he’s done. This is a pretty interesting setup, but Heist is not interested in a character study of a dying gangster. Instead, it’s a mish-mash of Quentin Tarantino, early Guy Ritchie, and, oddly enough, 1994’s Speed: http://www.cutprintfilm.com/reviews/heist/
