Vaughn Can Get Around Everyone

Sorry but if you were on a bus and it got hijacked there is no way you would feel sorry for one of the hijackers and give him a free pass to freedom. The guy must have some charm not only to get a free pass from the police officer but also the passengers and bus driver. The passengers would of been charged for helping him, the driver would of lost his job, and the officer would of risked being sacked again for not reporting his sister. Finally this guys face has been all over the news how could he walk around without being recognised.

go to wikipedia and look up STOCKHOLM SYNDROME. And if they were not suffering from true stockholm syndrome but just felt sorry for the guy or indebted to him for keeping the other hijackers from killing them their lawyers could get them off, its a form of "temporary insanity".

As unrealistic as the movie may be Stockholm Syndrome is a real phenomenon. Wikipedia has a page on it.

Plus putting every hostage on that bus on trial for abetting would have been a public relations nightmare.

The driver is a different story.

A GREAT ending extended scene could be him losing his job but not being prosecuted due to the Stockholm syndrome and Vaughn tracking the down and out bus driver and giving him a chunk of the 3 million dollars he got away with, enough to keep the guy well off.

The bus driver owes Vaughn his LIFE.

That crazy Cox was about to kill him, to shoot him in the neck.

Same goes for Bajos.

Vaughn pulls her out of the line of fire after she had a fight with Cox.
