DeNiro makeup to hide his shame (spoilers)

Looking at DeNiro in this film it is clear that something is off. He just does not look like the DeNiro whom we have come to know and love. The difference is his face. The multi Oscar winner has made himself up, doing something with his nose especially, so that his usual DeNiro features are disguised. DeNiro did this because of his shame and embarrassment of being in this 700 lb. turkey, which he did strictly for the money. Remember he played a casino boss before, in 1995 Casino. Here he is just a guy sitting behind a desk, talking on the phone, acting like a tough guy. With his absurd make up he keeps his distance from this terrible film. Thank you, that will be $3 million.
