I haven't really been watching this thus far.
I don't really like the new system and decided it wasn't worth bothering with now until the knock outs.
Having said that, maybe it has allowed the spotlight to fall away from the big clubs a bit. e.g. Look at Celtic. By chucking them all in against the ultra crap sides it's given them the chance to shine, even although ultimately, as usual, most of these mid teams will be gone by last 16.
We also got a first victim of the new format - Dynamo Zagreb. Knocked out on goal difference, despite not having the same opposition as the teams they were on the same points as. That's pretty garbage.
It was close for Celtic, even though they probably wouldn't have survived the extra time.
