so many insulting ridiculous comments here!

i thought the movie was great and worth being told! the events that happened were unprecedented and the fact his skill stopped his plane from becoming another missile into a populated areas speaks no bounds of what was averted. The time flew by (no pun intended) for me. I was gripped. The man and his crew are true heroes that averted a potentially far worse disaster. all 155 people survived which wouldn't have not been the case otherwise.

if you dont want movies like this being made then we will end up with more crap like independence day resurgence. People that lack the attention span of a goldfish are too dumb to comprehend the importance of a film like this which is fact not fiction.

People think it's boring because nobody dies.

reply

The problem is that these stories get turned into independence day.

The movie is great. It's okay to dislike it, may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the insulting comments are clearly coming from the sad and angry people who are disappointed in their own miserable lives, and since nobody would listen to them in real life, they come here to express this. All you can do is feel sorry for them, and ignore the comments. Let them be.

The only thing I took exception to was the hack job it did on the NTSB. No way would it have taken such a hostile approach in that situation and it did not do so. Several liberties were taken with the facts during the inquiry at the end, too.

My people skills are fine. It's my tolerance of morons that needs work.

reply

As did I. And they are coming from people who either haven't seen it or don't know what the word hero means. If Sullenberger wasn't behind the wheel and this plane ended up crashing into a building, then no one would be laughing. Instead everyone thinks they know better.

Trying to create a channel based on interpreting, reviewing, and even giving you something to laugh about film. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

I thought it was a beautiful film. The ferry driver, the first one was the REAL ferry driver from the real event. So that was awesome to see and know.

Frankly, Sully, the pilot, achieved the unthinkable and I guess it would be more satisfying to the complainers that the plane crashed and burned and everyone died instead of a happy ending.

((Damn the remakes, Save the originals.))

reply

Agreed. Why do these moaners fill up the internet with their pointless complaints?

Didn't realise the ferry captain was the real one. Everyone in the US is an actor!

reply

The film is good rather than great. Like most films directed by Eastwood, the story is told but the film doesn't quite touch the heart.

No, I take that back, the real-time crash scene really grabs the viewer by the gut, which is almost as good as the heart.
