Too good of a supporting cast

Having just seen the trailer, I think the actors "sorrounding" Mila Jovovic are too good for this movie.
I would be much more compelled to see it if the lead heroine would be someone more vulnerable and subtle. Not an action-star. Perhaps Cate Blanchett or Julianne Moore.

The lack of subtlety in the trailer and movie poster won't do much good to a movie that is already being produced by Millenium films, a production company that more often than not produced b-quality straight to dvd films (sometimes with great actors that deserve better).

This is just what I think, I'm curious what others think.

To be honest, had Robert Forster not popped up in the trailer, I may have skipped this one. I never really liked Brosnan as Bond (although in retrospect, he's far better than the perpetually solemn 'Daniel Craig') but he seems to have carved a nice little career since leaving the franchise.

It's almost like they said "Let's get a dozen very good actors just hovering beneath the A-list instead of one real big star".

Yup, and unless Milla Jovovich is shooting zombies (whilst performing slow-mo backflips) I fear her audience will (sadly) stay away from this one?

She's not, hence why I said "hovering beneath the A-list".

You said get very good actors hovering beneath an A-list. Which would imply she's the a-list star.

I think it's just worded incorrectly but I do agree with you.

To be fair, I think he might the entire cast was hovering beneath A-list (which they are, I guess?)
