I recognized him but I agree too much airbrushing he doesn't look like that

I think they overdid the airbrushing, he doesn't quite look like himself.

I agree, he looks odd. Kind of like how a doll looks like if you stepped on its face. It's like his nose area is sunk in.

Agreed. I didn't know who was in this movie, and when I saw the poster, at a distance, I thought "It's Pierce Brosnan", but upon closer examination thought it must be someone else with similar features...

It looks like a morph between Brosnan and a 30'ish Sean Bean or something.
