Is Frances Delatour attempting an American accent in this, I couldn't tell whether she was or wasn't...

That really bothered me, but yes. I guess to be working at the American Embassy you have to be American.

Yes I guess so, she seemed to be doing then American 'twang' thing early on in the movie then just abandoned it halfway through. She obviously realised what a 'turkey' she was in.

I pretty much visited this message board just to see if anyone had commented on her terrible, TERRIBLE accent in this film :P I'm glad it was acknowledged
