What is the deal with the guys on the speedboat.....

and her (presumably) swimming out to them? I assumed she let one of them screw her to get rid of it, but that seemed not to be the case. Did I miss something?

I assume that she did also.

However, I believe that the appearance of the guy on the roof and her look of sadness (or perhaps guilt?) in resonse, was an indication that she acknowledged that the guy/s from the boat didn't make it and were... no more...

Yeah, whichever guy(s) she did it with in the boat was followed by the demon and died; so the thing was back to chasing her.

Pretty selfish on her part. Though shoe on the other foot, people usually do what they must to survive.
