That's a good question maybe she might have infected them. But if Jay were to have sex with them she should have told them that "it" would be following them. What I didn't understand is that if Jay passed it on why is it still following her.

Happily I've now got to watch it again. I've seen it on cable three times already and according to these boards, and (thanks to you) the trivia section, I've found I missed a lot. I'm gonna have to buy the DVD.

Finally when Jay sees Greg dying, the motif on her T-shirt, a blonde girl and a ball, is seen clearly. The ball is covered by her hair up until the very moment he dies. She is still wearing the T-shirt later when Paul tries to kiss her implying that she did not go through with her plan to pass it on to the guys on the boat."
If you allow for a more general "ball shaped objects" it actually runs from the opening scene to the last scene.

Also, I felt even without noticing the ball motif, that it was made clear that she didn't go through with her plan to infect the men on the boat. It cuts from her entering the water to her being asked something, and her reply indicates that she had not passed it on to anyone new yet.

shareAgreed. It sure seemed like it to me. She was wet and looked to have been crying coming back in car after we're led to believe she was grasping for way out and thought to allow herself to have sex with and be used by three guys. Which made everything else confusing as heck.
I hated this movie.
If she did it couldn't have been that good since she didn't shower or brush her teeth after waking up
shareThere would've been no reason too unless she just wanted to have sex. She would've only passed it on to the first guy she had sex with because after that it's no longer her burden unless he dies. Having sex with many doesn't increase your chances of survival.
