Ebert would have given this 4 stars
And a solid review praising the film. If you have read many Roger Ebert reviews, do you agree?

shareI TTLY agree! He would have loved the pervasive mood achieved thru the excellent soundtrack, cinematography & editing! I MISS Ebert??
shareEbert was the best film critic.
I particularly like his literary approach. He did learn something from his failed English Doctorates attempt.

3 for the soundtrack and some shots.
shareEbert did have a tendency to give four-star ratings to just about any superior (and sometimes not-so-superior) movie of spectacle. And he definitely preferred atmospheric horror to gore flicks. But sometimes he surprised me; he gave only three stars to The Sixth Sense, for example.

He definitely would.
Ebert had a soft spot for B movie trash and exploitation, so yes...he would've loved this movie. Siskel, not so much.
shareHe might have.
He didn't like slashers and other very formulaic horror movies, hated them in fact, but something like this he might give a positive review.
