Entertaining Indian copy of Hollywood and French original

So I had watched "The Next Three Days" and Russell Crowe was fantastic as usual along with Jessica Biel and the whole movie was gripping and intense and a really well made thriller.
I realized later that it was a remake of a French movie ("Pour Elle" [For Her]) and while I haven't seen the French original the Hollywood version is spectacular. Russell is just an amazing actor. Should've won another Oscar or two.
I just happened to watch Savi (2024) on Netflix and after first 5m, you can easily realize it is a near remake of these movies with some minor Indian things thrown in along with the usual casual silliness and showing the lead as some bastions of democracy/civility nonsense etc.

The lead actress was pretty and good in the role along with the uber star Anil Kappoor who was amazing. He's like 65/70+ I think but looks 45. Insane genetics and well maintained body. Good for him.

The movie deviates a bit from the Russell Crowe epic but they didn't let the lady do it all herself but had to rely on a guy to get the plan in which felt odd. Russell did it all himself and it felt more believable.

Also the shooting of the guy in the head plus the other guy dying on the street means now she's a murderer as well and she has zero remorse for that murder. Also, the detectives seemed to jump to conclusions so quickly that made them seem so stupid and amateurish and obviously it had to be another Asian detective to insert those Hindi dialogs and silly inside jokes only for Indians.

Finally they go to Liverpool via a ferry to Ireland but the movie shows then doing the entire flight thing for no reason at the airport including the immigration stop which all made no sense given if you're going to misdirect, misdirect without showing something that did not happen. Russell's movie was far better here with the game and picking up the elderly couple and crossing the Canadian border and then flying out.

Also, they did not even bother to dye their hair or change their appearance at all to evade the airport cops. You are getting fake passports. I mean you can easily get yourself and your kid a new look for those passports instead of having it match your killer look. Plus the convenience of the airport security changing shift as the pics scroll by worked in early 2000s but it is laughable today. Computers do all the work and flag you without having to scroll through.

Additionally Ireland is not a non-extradition treaty country. The cops deduce they're going via ferry so it can only be to Ireland or France or Netherlands or Spain etc. basically very nearby countries. Super easy to catch them and it's possibly narrowed to Ireland easily. Should have been caught

Anil K elevated it but they shouldn't have made him the primary hero. Indian movies can't seem to digest females doing all the work.
Overall, it was ok. I'd say 6.5/10.
