So no funeral?
Why was there no funeral for poor Rhonda? It's like she never existed. Wasted opportunity for drama.

shareMaybe it was done off-screen or it'll happen in another episode.
If you're not taking any steps forward, you're not moving at all.
I wondered too. I hope they do bring her back in flashbacks and maybe a funeral, because it made no sense not to show a funeral. They showed a wedding.
shareShe's been upgraded to a "special guest cast", meaning she'll likely be in andre's hallucinations, like in the first episode. I miss her too much.. how will andrew cope with this...
shareI am REALLY hoping there'll be a funeral for Rhonda in the next episode. Otherwise, that's just flat out WEIRD. A funeral for Bunkie, a cousin, but none for Andre's wife? Plus, it's annoying to show the family rolling on just mere moments after her death into the next drama.

@bu: Maybe they will do it during the next episodes.
shareToken white characters on black dominated shows don't get a funeral anymore than token black characters on white dominated shows get one.
shareI figured they would feel slightly something. I thought they were building Rhonda up to play a bigger role. It seemed Lucious and Cookie were starting to gain some respect for her. There were times they'd talk slick to her and Rhonda wouldn't bite her tongue.

I'm pretty sure it was done off screen. There is limited time for all the storylines. A funeral would have taken too much of that time.
Actors are useless without the power of a good writer's imagination
I really hope they at least show a scene from the funeral. That would be so jacked up. Rhonda at least deserves that. She loses a baby then dies not too long after. And she really stood by Andre.
