I like Rhonda as a Ghost

When you think about it. After a loved one dies - mom, dad, sister/bro - you do have dreams about them and they are guiding your life. After my mom died, for years she appeared in dreams and she was talking to me, helping me make decisions. So the Rhonda as ghost storyline makes a lot of sense IMO.

Anywho, last night's ep was a step up....good writing....and boy, can't Terrence Howard act his arse off?

I agree

Im bummed Rhonda was killed off. I was thinking it was gonna be all hype and neither died, but instead would fall onto an awning or something and only sustaining injuries. They make Andre suffer so much. I don't like that.

reply

I'm really bummed as well. And it happened so abruptly, right at the beginning! Just BOOM - sucked you right in. This episode really was stacked with drama.

Poor Andre - he's the Lady Edith (Downton Abbey) of Empire. He just exists to be put through the wringer. I think they do it because Trai is such a good actor that they know they can create these wild character arcs and he is capable of delivering.

reply

Oh Trai is an awesome actor. In season 1, his bipolar breakdowns (shower scene being one) were done so well and some of the best scenes from the show. I just hate how tortured thia guy is. I look forward to his story the most this season. Jamal used to be my favorite but he is becoming the Michelle Tanner from Full House on Empire, way too much attention given. Andre is now my favorite.

reply

Not a ghost, hallucination, it can be a symptom of bipolar disease. Andre has cracked.

reply

Well perhaps by the end of season 3, his hallucination would come full circle and he'll find himself right at that balcony of Rhonda and Anika fighting.

He dreamed the whole thing?

and the whole world has to answer right now just to tell you once again. Who's Bad?

reply

As soon as he saw her as his hallucination I immediately thought about the show "Bates Motel" .idk if that's a good thing or not

reply

I don't mind her showing up occasionally as a ghost speaking to Andre but I hope they limit the amount of supernatural aspect to the show. That will not be good if we have a ghost going around angry and seeking revenge and reeking havoc. Though luscious would definitely deserve to get haunted.

reply

It's weird, but my grandma died last month and yes, it's very true that I talk to "her".

I still hate that Rhonda was killed off though.

reply

Anybody notice that Trai and Grace are "Beyers" in last name?

reply

They got married over the summer

reply

They work well together. That's his baby in real life but he has to hate her guts on the show. That must be funny to film scenes like that and have the director yell "cut" and the both laugh.
